Biography

David Shrigley is a British artist known for his irreverent and satirical drawings, sculptures, and animations. He was born in 1968 in Macclesfield, England, and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland, where he attended the Glasgow School of Art.

Shrigley's career began in the early 1990s, when he started creating and distributing self-published zines and artist books. He quickly gained a following for his darkly humorous, absurdist style, and his work was included in numerous exhibitions and publications.
