Zélie Nguyen

Biography

Zélie Nguyen, born in 1995 in Paris, France, is a multidisciplinary artist currently based in London, United Kingdom. Her practice spans painting, sculpture, and installation, often exploring themes of mythology, memory, and bodily transformation through a distinctly surreal and tactile visual language. Nguyen frequently draws on her Vietnamese-French heritage, blending Eastern and Western symbolic references to construct layered, dreamlike narratives. A graduate of the Slade School of Fine Art, she has exhibited across the UK and Europe, including at spaces such as Guts Gallery and Studio West, gaining attention for her emotionally resonant and materially rich works. Her art has been acquired by a growing base of private collectors, and she is increasingly recognised within the emerging contemporary art market. While not yet widely traded on the secondary market, her inclusion in curated exhibitions and growing critical reception point to a strengthening position, with the potential for increased market activity in the near future.
