Role: PHP Developer
Department: Tech
Location: Mayfair, London, UK (flexible 3 days/office, 2 days/remote)
Status: Full-time permanent

Now hiring a PHP Developer.

We are a recently formed online platform with a mission to bring the art world together to explore, connect, discuss, and collect art. Artscapy is growing quickly, and we are now looking to add a creative and enthusiastic developer to the team. Our comprehensive platform hosts features for our users to form worldwide connections and engage in curated discussions, discover art trends, refine or start a collection, and other key features for art lovers and professionals alike. Our aim is to support the digital transformation of the art world, and to do that we need to be delivering the best online user experience, making this role vital to achieving that goal.
We are looking for a dynamic developer who will work with the Technical Lead to design, build and support our current platform and future projects.
You will be working across Web, Social media, Blockchain and eCommerce primarily on a LAMP stack but also Lambda and other AWS services are involved. Given our focus on art, and specifically contemporary, urban, and street art, it’s important this is a shared interest. You’ll work closely with the founders and core team to deliver an exciting digital product, so this is a great opportunity to get exposure to enthusiastic and friendly entrepreneurs and grow your skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Support our web products and infrastructure
  • Work with the team to provide technical solutions for new business requirements
  • Test and debug software updates and expansions to the platform
  • Ensure code is written to a high standard and is well documented
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience with PHP application development
  • Good understanding of MySQL
  • HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • API experience with integrations/interfaces
  • Experience of using analytics
  • Good communications skills both verbal and written
  • Framework experience such as Drupal, Symfony, React would be a bonus
  • Git/Github/Bitbucket
  • Understanding of CI/CD principals
  • Used to working in an Agile environment

Role: CRM Specialist

Now hiring a CRM Specialist.

As a fast-growing tech startup aiming to support the digital transformation of the art world, we are looking for a talented and driven person to become our CRM Specialist who is responsible for retention campaigns, from conceptualization through to analysis. This includes idea generation, proposal preparation, overseeing the production process and execution.

As our CRM Specialist, you’ll lead the implementation of a new CRM and ESP system and you will be responsible for building and executing the CRM strategy for Artscapy. You must be a self-starter, who is happy to work as part of a wider team. This is a cross-functional role that works closely with the founders and core team to launch initiatives and campaigns that will increase usage, traffic and revenues for the platform. Finally, given our focus on art, and specifically contemporary, urban, and street art, it’s important this is a shared interest. If you are an enthusiastic, social media savvy person with the ability to balance big-picture thinking and attention to detail, we look forward to hearing from you!

What you will do:
  • Manage the CRM strategy and execution across all channels, including personalised, triggered programmes and targeted email programmes
  • Work with the founders to select the CRM & ESP platform, ensuring it works seamlessly across the business and captures all required information at key points in the customer cycle
  • Plan and optimise retention strategies
  • Develop the segmentation strategy and the life cycle mapping to deliver more targeted and personalised campaigns and digital communications
  • Define the customer journey, the channels to use, the triggers and the touchpoints of engagement with the different segments.
  • Monitor and maximise customer lifetime value
  • Identify new leads and target audiences to optimise ROI, developing new and innovative ways to enhance the customer experience
  • Produce detailed analysis, defining, managing and reporting on KPIs to evaluate performance and reporting on email marketing performance weekly
What we look for:
  • You have a degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
  • You have minimum 3 years prior experience in a CRM or product marketing role and a proven success track record with demonstrable results
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Demonstrable art interest (education and/or working experience) a big plus
  • Strong communication and copywriting skills
  • You have a growth mindset: You are not afraid of a challenge and believe that success is based on learning, experimenting, analysing, and persevering
  • You are creative, ambitious, and a strong problem solver
