One of my Instagram findings during the first lockdown was Majit Thapp, an emerging UK-based illustrator and artist. Her Instagram handle is @manjitthapp. Last weekend I had the chance to see her works in real life at NOW gallery, and was amazed by her skills (I bought my first print there ).
This is the link Thapp's first solo exhibition 'My Head is a Jungle': https://nowgallery.co.uk/exhibitions/manjit-thapp

I recently discovered Ghoulorama on instagram and have fallen in love with his style. It's so vibrant and the kind of messy art that I love.
Go and check out his instagram page @ghoulorama to see his fun art pieces!0 0 0 0 0 0 0 -
I think I shared it in another discussion on Artscapy but the artist that I saved on my Ig is Vojtech Kovarik! His style is original and I like the fact that it's mostly large canvases

I have discovered this artist through a graduate show in 2019, actually. But I love his paintings. I feel like there is lots of emotion in his narratives and sleek compositions https://www.instagram.com/tristanpigott/

#MoffatTakadiwa! The artist "transforms post-consumer waste – such as used toothpaste tubes, spray cans, computer keyboards – into lush, densely layered sculptures and tapestry-like wall works that embody the complexities of contemporary Zimbabwean politics, culture, and reference his Korekore heritage." I think its fascinating to look at his works and I will definitely keep an eye out for his future exhibitions. It must be quite an experience to see his sculptures in person.0 0 0 0 0 0 0-

My latest art finding on IG was Shara Hughes (@sharalynne). I find it very similar to
#DavidHockney . What do you think?0 0 0 0 0 0 0-
the colours are beautiful and vibrant but I am not really sure if I enjoy the compositions. especially the first image you uploaded, it feels like this is some kind of spiritual art... I see the David Hockney reference but yeah lacks creativity and innovation

Found Simphiwe Ndzube artworks and I have been a little obsessed with her vibrant colours, textures, compositions and narratives. I love how her paintings sort of are 3D works as well ! She usually has this fabric people coming out of her canvas frame !

hey all! new here! I discovered Lily Macrae - https://www.instagram.com/lilcmac/ - I really enjoy how blended her paintbrush marks blend with the composition. I also love the one tone paintings. I find it very different from what I have seen so far
