Pinksummer, founded and directed by Antonella Berruti and Francesca Pennone in Genoa, from 2005 is based in Cortile Maggiore, Palazzo Ducale.
The name refers to the first exhibition opened on 19 February 2000. It was the title of a canvas by Takashi Murakami displayed in the exhibition, a group show with two artists: Takashi Murakami/Miltos Manetas.

Pinksummer is characterized by the presentation of exhibition projects, usually solo shows, with artists with whom maintains a long-term relationship.
