We are committed to granting our members access to culturally and historically significant contemporary art of the highest calibre. This is the kind of art that endures the test of time and enriches meaningful collections. We strive to eliminate barriers to accessing such exceptional art, making art collecting accessible, secure, and effortless.

We are therefore very proud to share the first set of artworks from our exclusive collaboration with David Zwirner Gallery. Established in 1993 in New York’s vibrant SoHo, Zwirner has established a competency of excellence for representing and supporting some of the world’s most influential artists over the past 30 years.

The selection of paintings includes groups of works inspired by the artist's rural upbringing and Afro-Brazilian heritage, whilst others reflect upon his lived experience of carnival parades in Rio, diverse religious ceremonies and Brazilian colonial history. Ozias captures the community through vibrantly coloured scenes that are collectively both joyous and violent, cheerful and confrontational.

The works on view, all completed between 1996 and 2004, were formerly in the collection of the Museu Internacional de Arte Naïf (MIAN), Rio de Janeiro, which was founded by the preeminent collector of Ozias’s work Lucien Finkelstein.
