Provided that you have already added the artwork to your inventory and requested an artist's licence, please follow the steps below:

• Please visit your 'certificates' section in your dashboard and select 'new COA'.


• Please select 'create' on the right of your preferred artwork.


• Review the data included in the submitted form. Please note that as soon as you submit the form, you will no longer be able to edit the information linked to this particular artwork.


• Your data is encrypted and securely recorded permanently on the blockchain.


• Your COA is now minted and available for transfer.

An artist’s license declares that you either represent the artist or you are authorized to create certificates of authenticity for this particular artist.

You can request one by visiting the ‘Certificates’ section of the dashboard and selecting 'New COA'. You will then be prompted to select the artwork from your inventory.

If you do not currently have a license for a particular artist, the artwork will be marked as 'artist is not in an approved list', and you will not be able to issue the certificate of authenticity on blockchain through Artscapy. Please proceed with clicking ‘Request’ at the right of your preferred artwork. Our team will receive your request, and either approve the request or work with you to obtain adequate information for their decision.

Yes, Artscapy will mint and record the certificate permanently on the blockchain. In order to request a certificate for your artwork, you will need to first add it to your inventory and proceed to request an artist’s licence.

All of your certificates can be managed and found in the 'Certificates' section of your dashboard.

You do not need to action anything- the transfer of the COA on the blockchain is immediate upon the sale of the artwork.
