Last week, I was conversing with fellow Artscapers about #DavidHockney commission for TFL and how sad it is that #London did not commission #EmergingArtists instead of an already famous artist. This week, I have encountered this project in the billboards of NYC subway featuring this vibrant emerging artist Oscar Yi Hou! The project is called "Already Home:AAPI artists on Belonging" and hopes to raise awareness and stop hate towards the Asian-American community. I think this is such an admirable initiative. And secondly, I am in love with this artist expression, energetic brushstrokes and bold colours. What do you think?
