Oriele Steiner

Born in 1993 in England, Oriele Steiner is a London-based artist who specializes in painting. She completed her BA in Fine Art at the University of Brighton in 2015 and furthered her studies through the Turps Banana Correspondence Course in 2021-2022. Steiner's work is known for its playful experimentation with color and light, crafting fantastical semi-narrative scenes. Her artwork often reflects a distinctively ‘British’ humor, masterfully weaving together elements of comedy and darkness. Her pieces have been showcased in numerous galleries throughout the UK, including in London, Edinburgh, Brighton, as well as internationally in Amsterdam.

Steiner's paintings delve into the themes of sensuality and the complex nature of the female form. She employs vibrantly grotesque, almost caricature-like figures to draw intriguing comparisons between natural landscapes and the human body, creating a unique dialogue between the two.
