Soumya Netrabile

Soumya Netrabile (b. 1966, Bangalore, India) is an Indian artist currently based in Chicago, United States. Trained originally in engineering before turning to painting, Netrabile creates expressive works that blend abstraction and figuration, drawing heavily from the natural world, memory, and emotion. Her primary medium is oil on canvas, though she also works in drawing and ceramics.
